Kevin H. Choi, CLU is the Managing Partner of the Los Angeles General Office. Kevin graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Finance. Upon graduation, he became a banker for 5 years as a Customer Service manager and loan officer.

On January 6, 1997, Kevin started his career with New York Life as a Partner in the Los Angeles General Office. Kevin has won numerous awards in management, and he was ranked #1 Partner in the Company among 280 Partners before being promoted to Senior Partner position in October of 1999.

Shortly thereafter, on July 31, 2000, Kevin was promoted to Agency Vice President in the Pacific Zone to assist in the overall operation and production of the Pacific Zone working closely with the Partners and Managing Partners in 33 General Offices throughout 11 Western States. In

2003, the Pacific Zone had an outstanding year and won the coveted "Zone Award of Excellence" award. In March of '05, Kevin was promoted to Zone Vice President.

In January of 2006, Kevin took over the Los Angeles GO where he had started his career and led the office to number of record breaking years in total production in 2006, 2007, and 2009. Currently, the Los Angeles General Office is having another exceptional year, and the office is ranked #6 out of 119 offices in the company in total sales performance.

Kevin's constant aspiration is to pursue a life of significance and empower others personally and professionally. Kevin is married to Serena, his wife of 15 years, and they have a beautiful daughter, Claudia age 14. Kevin enjoys movies, dining, and fitness.
